With style fleshed out I was ready to move onto adapting El, I produced an expression sheet as well as a basic pose, I was very happy with the result and felt the colours and lines worked well.

With another campaign round the corner It was time to create another d&d character, Citdiar head strong faun prince was born! I enjoyed creating his costume and playing around with furs.

Now that I had a better idea of style I was going for I began to try out a few things until I found something I was happy with, I then played around with the possible character colours and meanings behind these.

After feed back on my films style I went back and looked at my original designs and moved on to create something that was much more nostalgic  and childlike. I enjoyed experimenting with a more textured and pencil like style, I also felt the block colour and lack of lines added to this. It was at this time I also deiced to remove the fireflies element from my story experimenting with the changing colour of the characters rather then the need of an outside object.

Another fun character design, I created this little fella, Nug the flame newt! He was alot of fun to mess around with and understand how he might move (and cast flames!!).

Taking a little time out during the summer break, I decided to sit down and draw out my d&d character Daedove out again, I wanted to experiment with drawing body and trying out a different costume type.

After looking at a honeydew meleon I suddenly felt the need to combine it with an elephant, many more Melon-elephant fusions followed and I ended up with a handful of happy Melephants! It was a fun character designing challenge
